We are currently fully immersed in The Wonders of Roald Dahl.

The children are enjoying wizz popping, frobscottle, muggle wumps and much, much more!

We will be inviting you to come and explore Roald Dahl with us at the end of our half term.

Presenting our work to you by opening up our classroom as an exhibition.

Ahoy me hearties!

We have travelled far and seen so much but now it is time to land and tell our others of our tale.

We will be performing our class assembly on Friday 4th November and would love you to come and join the crew of the famous vessel.....

The Shipwreck!

Year 4 have worked extremely hard throughout the first half term and have produced some spectacular project work, not only within school but also through their homework as well.

It has been a fabulous topic so far and to celebrate that we would like to invite you to watch us share our work.

Also to ensure a full and mighty crew we would like to ask if it would be possible to rustle up some 'piratey' costumes during half term so we can really look the part!

Hello and welcome to Year 4!!

I am really excited about our year ahead. As you know I have been teaching in Year 5 here at Whaley Bridge for the last two years so I am new to Year 4 just like all of you! We can learn and enjoy the year together.

We also have Miss Chambers, Mrs Adams and Mrs Webster working with us in Year 4.

Our new class letter will be handed out on Friday so you can check out any new updates and look over any changes or important days for Year 4 e.g. PE or swimming.

If you can help with swimming on a Wednesday afternoon please pop in and write your name up on our class noticeboard on the left of our classroom door.

Our first topic is called 'Shipwrecked' which should be loads of fun! We are doing some work on The Tempest, some short stories and drama activities about pirates and sea based adventures, lots of art and design work including creating scary, scaly sea monsters and much much more!

If you have any information about the sea, adventures, pirates or anything else related to our topic that you would like to share with us please do.
