This term we have begun a new topic...
Winter
Wonderland
We are all very excited about all our new Winter theme,
and although it was sad to say goodbye to our Santa's
Grotto, we are all excited to soon complete our new superb
winter wonderland igloo to match our new topic theme.
So far this term we have begun to learn about many
different polar animals and have now started to create
our very own non-fiction books, based on the facts we have
learnt. These will soon be completed and displayed
alongside some magical glitter snowflakes on the display
boards just though the quiet area doors. Please feel free to
come and take a look, you might even learn something
new!
Next, we will focus in on habitats and weather around the
world. This will hopefully include a small DT project, for
which we will need a variety of recycled materials. If you
have any yoghurt pots or carboard tube etc going spare,
please bring them into school any time after Monday
16th January. We do not need cardboard boxes however
as I have already collected enough for us all.
We are sure we will continue to have a fantastic year
together, having lots of fun, whilst learning new things
and developing lots of skills along the way! Please
check this page regularly for updates, news and pictures.
Warm wishes,
Miss Draper
