In the first week back you should have received a class letter - please check your child’s' book bag! The letter will have lots of important information! If you cannot find it- don’t worry you may download it by click on the ‘Class Letter’ link on the right hand pane.
Don't forget our first two weeks are learning weeks based on our schools' centenary- so we will be doing lots of fun and exciting activities that will enable you to learn about school 100 years ago. We will be working alongside a local artist, meet a local historian and don't forget to dress up (typical dress 100 years ago) on the nominated days. If you have any information/artefacts that you think will link well to the learning weeks-please bring them in- it would be great for you to share it!
Information, exciting news and websites to visit are frequently added to our Year 3 learning page...so keep checking it!
If you can help with our swimming sessions on a Thursday afternoon (2.30 pm – 3.30 pm) and if you are CRB checked please come and sign your name on the swimming rota which is on our classroom door. We will need 2 adults to help and assist the children. (The School Office have CRB forms if you require one.) In order for swimming sessions to go ahead we rely on parents/carers to sign up, so please start checking your diaries now! We will keep reminding you throughout the year! Thank you in advance!
If you have any questions or concerns, I am always around after school when it is much quieter! So please come in and talk, you are always welcome.
