The University of the First Age (UFA) aims to transform the lives of young people. Raising aspirations and achievements by improving confidence and self belief through exciting and memorable educational experiences is at the heart of what they do. Using UFA strategies, children learn HOW to learn.

The UFA philosophy is integral to life at Whaley Bridge Primary School.

Our UFA Super Learner Days take place every January and our UFA fellow (Miss Chapman) recruits a team of peer tutors to run the day.
