Whaley Bridge School Choir has performed for many years to a wide and varied audience. They have sung at a variety of venues including Lichfield Cathedral and the Bridgewater Hall, and at many festivals in and around High Peak. Her Majesty the Queen and the late Princess of Wales have heard and met the choir.
No Audition is necessary to join, just the love of music and the desire to sing in a supported and fun environment. We sing a variety of songs from many different genres of Music. Even language is no barrier - we have been learning songs in French, German and even Latin! We love any song which excites us and inspires us to sing.
A notable feature is the excellent charity work we undertake; we have raised in excess of £30,000 over the years.
